What will i been needing when i do a h22 swap..?

i.e ecu chip....

what type of engine will i need da type s sh. U KNOW WHICH 1...



ITS A ACCORD 5TH GENERATION DX STICH....WILL I NEED JUST DA MOTOR MOUNT OR WILL I NEED ANYTHING ELSE DEN WIRE HARNESS N ECU...

You will need the motor/tranny mounts, axles, ecu, COMPLETE engine wiring harness, shift linkages, also make sure the engine is the same type OBD as your car, if not you will have to do some converting.

yeah you need everything also make completely sure it includes the ecu cause its expensive depending on what motor it is.

you will need a big bucket of money and a lot of patience.  



Your best bet will be to purchase a wrecked prelude with an H22 or a japanese market accord with an H22.  try to get the whole car or at least the front cut so you will have the full wiring harness and misc bits like AC and power steering lines.



you will also need wiring diagrams for your car and for the donor car



unless you have previous experience with this swap don't get suckered into buying a longblock only.. if you do that you will be running around trying to get a lot of random parts to finish the swap

If your H22A comes with an external coil distributor & your stock engine comes with an internal coil distributor; here are some links to look at:

For the driver's side mount (as explained in the 2nd link I posted), you need to either shave off material from the Prelude mount (the part where the bolt goes through), or you can buy an aftermarket mount from Hasport.
