i have 2 type r 12" subs and a 1000watt mono block amp its been tuned and tuned over and over again but i still cant get it sounding right. i have a 1 farid capacitor also. i listen to a lot of dirty house music so the subs where put in a fairly big box for nice rumbles (not to sure on the litres) the box is not ported also and the wireing is high quality and wired correctly. dont get me wrong it sounds good but i know from hearing cheaper setups that it should sound better. if i was to get a smaller box could this fix my prob??? i have run out of ideas n e help would be much appreciated. its installed in a 1994 e36 bmw 4 door

cheers :P

u spent a lot of time and money so far so if i were u id add a good 15 band eq to  top it off and shim out unwanted levels of distortion
