I particularly remember one article that was about, and I am paraphrasing, "the best handling car for $100,000", or something to that tune. I do remember that in the end, the BMW E36 M3 took top honors based on pound for pound handling/dollars. Directly after that article was a short showcasing the Ford SVT Contour, stating that for 25k the Contour did most of the performance test within a margin of the M3 that most average drivers wouldn?t be able to notice the difference.
