i have a 97 ford probe it has some problems idk wat the problem is all i can say is that when try to accelerate the car starts to buck usually around the 3 and 4 rpm mark also at certain times when i am trying to accelerate it wont go past the 4th rpm more or less and my car picks up more speed not when u floor it but a little bit before actually flooring it. also when sitting at a red light when lifting the foot of the brake it seems to have 2 different speeds at time sometimes it just chugs a long slowly and then other rare times it goes just above the 1 rpm while the other time it is below and with my foot lifted on the brake a little bit it also feels like its is slightly bucking to move since i have had the car i didnt have a tune up thou i have changed 2 filters the fuel filter and air filter would a tune up solve the rest of the problems or is it something else and my O2 senser is bad could that contribute to the problem my mechanic doesnt think the 02 sensers are important
it is a 4 cylinder ford probe
