I have a 2003 ford mustang GT with an automatic trans.

When it was stock it didnt chirp the tires going into 2nd, but now that I put a CAI, 3.73 gears, throttle body/plenum up to 75mm, exhaust, and a couple of other mods and I also got in tuned with a tuner and brought it to someone to tune  it.

Now it chirps when I have it floored going into 2nd.

I know I have more power with the mods, but I am thinking if I should go back and get it tuned again so it doesnt chirp the tires, because arent I losing some of my speed when it does that?

oh yeah, I do have brand new wide tires, the best ones they offered me, they were like $250 a piece.

When you spin the tires going into second gear you loose about a tenth of a second. Because of the tune characteristics it is going to chirp the tires. Some frame connectors and traction bars would probably help with this. Also toying with the shift points may also help. Sticky tires will also work

Easy on the gas pedal, know when to floor it when you have good traction. If that always fails, look for better and/or wider tires, or else deflate your tires a bit for extra traction.
