When he start it up, he start shaking. You can hear the windows rattling. First we thought it was the heater core, then the fuel injections, tune-up parts (spark plugs, router and etc) and now a mechanic thinks that the number one cycliner may be going bad. It started shaking when my dad was talking the heater core off and he was just puling out the wires. Then it started shaking. But my dad thinks it was the tune-up. He had those cheap parts, not Ford products. When we add the Ford producsts for the tune up, it was better, but still shaking. Could it actually be the cyclinder on the motor?
It've been like this since October, I think... or around that. Please help me! My dad is thinking of selling it!

That is my high school truck... It is a 1991 Ford Custom F-150 4.9.
A mechanic looked at it and said it might be the number 1 cyclinder on the motor!
NO!! Dad pulled the wires that is connected to the truck to the heater core and it started shaking because he had to replace the heater core. The people at O'Riley (auto part store) was watching him! He got it fixed and bought a new heater core by a mechanic but it was still shaking. So he thought it was the fuel injections. Because the truck didn't have the same power it had before. But a mechanic checked the fuel injections out and said they were okay. Then he thought it was the tune up parts because they were cheap and made by totally different brands. So he got some tune up parts from Motorcraft (Ford) and a mechanic changed them. The truck is better but still shaking. The mechanic said the number one cyclinder may be going bad on the motor. My dad is thinking of selling the truck or putting the truck in the shop and let them rebuild it. Help me!!
He's on a fixed income though...
