Refer to your owner's manual for proper maintenance intervals.  The cost will vary, depending upon where you take it.  For example, a dealer will probably charge you more because their part and labor prices will likely be higher than an independently owned shop.  You may want to pay special attention to your timing belt.  Hondas are usually an interference type engine, which means that if the timing belt breaks the engine will damage itself, requiring either a new engine or rebuilding yours.....EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!  If the timing belt has never been changed, get it done as quickly as possible.  If I remember correctly, Honda recommends replacement at 90k and then again at 150k.  Again, refer to your owners manual, or contact your local Honda dealer.  You may want to have the water pump changed at the same time, since it has to be accessed to change the timing belt.  The additional labor to change it will be minimal, so your cost is essentially the cost of the part only.

Here are some things that need to be replaced/inspected if they haven't already been done:

replace engine oil, every 7,500 - $8 do it yourself

replace engine oil filter, every 15,000 - $4 do it yourself

replace air cleaner element, every 30,000 - $13 do it yourself

replace spark plugs, every 30,000 - $16 do it yourself

replace engine coolant, every 45,000 - $8 do it yourself

check tires inflation

replace timing belt and water pump, every 100,000 - $100 do it yourself

replace transmission fluid, every 90,000 - $4 do it yourself

inspect front/rear brakes, every 15,000, replace worn out brake pads for $50 do it yourself

rotate tires, every 7,500

Costs may double, triple, or more when you bring it to a shop to have done.

Good luck!
