Why can't my '98 Mitsubishi Eclipse start in cold weather?
« on: March 13, 2008, 09:18:54 PM »
I have a problem with my 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse, it doesn't start in the cold weather. I was involve in an accident and had to replace the hood, passenger side fender, front bumper, and headlights. When I picked my car up, I notice they took out the thermostat. I have gotten a tune-up in December. Sometimes if I'm lucky it will start after like 10 cranks. It starts perfectly fine in warmer weather conditions.

get your battery load tested, check battery/starter/alternator connections. also plug it in, and perhapse get a battery warmer.
